Job Description

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components or systems.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and upgrades.
  • Support the installation of new machinery and equipment as required.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Technician should have:

  • Relevant technical qualifications in engineering or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of machinery and tools.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
