Job Description

  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Analyse financial data to support strategic business decisions.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor and control financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting and finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification or Qualified by experience (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
