Job Description

  • Produce and review financial reports, ensuring alignment with applicable accounting frameworks.
  • Take ownership of monthly and annual close activities, delivering timely and accurate results.
  • Safeguard the accuracy of the general ledger through thorough reconciliations and well‑controlled postings.
  • Deliver meaningful financial analysis to inform commercial and strategic business decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to streamline financial processes and strengthen controls.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, analysing variances against actual performance.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to statutory, regulatory, and corporate reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate audit support by preparing schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • An academic background in accounting, finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • Progress toward or completion of a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • A solid grasp of core accounting concepts and financial reporting requirements.
  • Confidence using financial systems alongside strong, advanced Excel capability.
  • A detail‑focused, structured approach with the ability to resolve issues systematically.
  • Previous exposure to the technology or telecommunications sector would be beneficial.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and build effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
