Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring processes.
  • Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making within the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
  • Respond to financial queries and provide guidance to stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A solid foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A professional qualification in accounting or a related field is desirable.
  • Experience within the not-for-profit sector is advantageous but not essential.
