Job Description

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and budgets to support the organisation's goals.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with various departments to manage costs and improve financial efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications or part-qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Experience in management accounting within a similar role or industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
