Job Description

As Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for the operational execution of customer orders from manufacturing release through to customer delivery. You will lead the teams responsible for assembly, test execution, configuration, materials control and fulfilment, ensuring products are delivered on time, to quality standards and in line with customer commitments.

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet production schedules and targets.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards across the production floor.
  • Monitor and improve manufacturing workflows and processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align production with business objectives.
  • Train and develop team members to ensure high performance and skill advancement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present reports on production metrics and outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

You will be an experienced operational leader with a background in electronics, technology, defence, aerospace or a similar manufacturing environment.

You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, coordinating cross-functional activities and working effectively with both internal teams and outsourced manufacturing partners.Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading manufacturing, production or operational teams.
  • Strong people management and leadership capability.
  • Experience managing workflow, operational priorities and delivery performance.
  • Understanding of electronics manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.



Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or equivalent industry experience would be beneficial however not essential.
