Working for a leading reputable, single strategy investment manager who are looking to hire a Marketing Manager into their team in central London. This role will report into the Marketing and Communications Director and will play an integral role to the content marketing strategy and delivery.

About Our Client

The client are a leading investment manager who are looking to hire a Marketing Manager into their team in central London.

This role will work with the Head of Marketing & Communications to plan and implement the marketing strategy across all channels. Working closely with the wider team (Communications Manager, Specialist Writer, Designer, Events Manager and Marketing Associate) to support to deliver the firms goals.

Role is based in London and is hybrid.

Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

Strategy

  • Support the development and delivery of the annual marketing strategy in partnership with the Head of Marketing & Communications.
  • Track performance against agreed objectives and KPIs, producing regular reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain the marketing budget.



Content

  • Plan and manage the annual content calendar.
  • Coordinate the creation, approval and distribution of content.
  • Monitor content performance and optimise campaigns based on engagement data and channel effectiveness.
  • Lead and deliver marketing projects, ensuring timelines, resources and deliverables are effectively managed.
  • Maintain project plans and workflows using project management tools (e.g. Monday.com).



Website & Digital

  • Manage and update website content via CMS (Sitecore).
  • Analyse website and campaign performance using GA4 and Looker Studio, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and user journey.
  • Implement SEO best practice to improve search visibility and organic traffic.
  • Build, execute and optimise email campaigns using marketing automation tools (Salesforce Account Engagement).
  • Use CRM data to segment audiences, track engagement and inform targeting strategies.
  • Manage and optimise social media activity to support distribution and audience growth.



Compliance

  • Ensure all marketing activity complies with FCA financial promotions rules and internal approval processes.
  • Apply GDPR requirements across all marketing initiatives and manage data responsibly.



Other

  • Support the delivery of events and wider marketing initiatives as required.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and broader team priorities.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Marketing Manager role:

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing in financial services - preferably Asset Management
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing and distribution within financial services and solid knowledge of the fund management industry and its products
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and work under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using CMS platforms (preferably Sitecore) and analytics tools such as GA4 and Looker Studio.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce Account Engagement and Salesforce).
  • Strong understanding of SEO and digital distribution channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
  • Working knowledge of FCA financial promotions regulations, GDPR and Consumer Duty.
  • Evidence of effective people and stakeholder management experience
