Job Description

  • Manage Open-To-Buy (OTB) budgets to maximise sales opportunities and profitability.
  • Utilise WSSI to effectively plan and forecast stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory management.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to make informed merchandising decisions.
  • Collaborate with buyers to create and maintain effective stock plans.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend actions to improve sales and reduce markdowns.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on stock and sales performance to stakeholders.
  • Support the retail team in maintaining an efficient and profitable product range.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Merchandiser should have:

  • Proven experience in OTB management and WSSI within the retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Adept at managing stock levels and optimising inventory processes.
