Job Description

  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure availability of key products.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery schedules.
  • Plan and forecast stock requirements based on seasonal trends and consumer demand.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align stock levels with promotional campaigns.
  • Identify slow-moving stock and implement strategies to improve turnover.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock and sales data.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Merchandiser should have:

  • Experience in stock management and sales analysis within the retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency with relevant software and tools for data analysis.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
