Job Description

  • Develop and maintain the operational risk management framework.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks across the organisation.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present risk reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews of processes and controls.
  • Support the development of business continuity and crisis management plans.
  • Ensure all processes align with public sector regulations and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operational Risk Manager should have:

  • Previous experience in operational risk management within the public sector or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with business continuity planning and crisis management.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in risk management or compliance (desirable).
