They are now seeking a Part Time Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.

Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to the H&S team, ensuring accurate maintenance of health and safety records, logs, and documentation
  • Assist with the coordination and tracking of mandatory H&S training, inductions, and refresher courses for site employees
  • Maintain incident, accident, and near‑miss records, supporting timely reporting and follow‑up actions
  • Support the preparation, review, and filing of risk assessments, safe systems of work, and standard operating procedures
  • Liaise with site managers, colleagues, and external contractors to gather H&S documentation and compliance information
  • Manage H&S databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality at all times
  • Assist with internal audits, inspections, and compliance checks by collating evidence and preparing reports
  • Handle general administrative tasks including meeting minutes, correspondence, and document control within the H&S function

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part Time Administrator should have:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a health & safety, manufacturing, or regulated environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong data accuracy skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to record‑keeping and document control
  • Confident communication skills, able to liaise professionally with colleagues, managers, and external contacts
  • An understanding of health & safety principles and compliance requirements (or a willingness to learn)
