Job Description

  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to individual clients.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling queries and resolving issues.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure all submissions are completed promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise tax efficiency for clients.
  • Assist with tax investigations and enquiries, offering technical guidance.
  • Support junior team members by providing training and mentorship.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Tax Senior should have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and planning.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of individual tax clients.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • A relevant professional qualification, such as ATT or CTA.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.
