Job Description

  • Lead and manage the pharmacy team to deliver outstanding patient care.
  • Ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver and develop NHS and private pharmacy services.
  • Drive service performance, including vaccinations, Pharmacy First, and other enhanced services.
  • Maintain compliance with GPhC standards, NHS requirements, and company procedures.
  • Manage stock control, prescription workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop pharmacy colleagues to achieve their full potential.
  • Build strong relationships with GP surgeries, healthcare professionals, and the local community.
  • Drive business growth while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Pharmacy Manager should have:

  • MUST HAVE MPharm degree and registration with the GPhC.
  • Experience in a retail healthcare or pharmacy setting.
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and patient consultation skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience delivering NHS and private clinical services.
  • Commercial awareness and experience driving service growth.
