Job Description

  • Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently and complies with all regulations.
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy team to deliver excellent service.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on healthcare needs.
  • Oversee stock management and ensure availability of necessary medications.
  • Handle prescription processing and ensure accuracy at all times.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the wider store operations.
  • Monitor and improve pharmacy performance against key targets.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment for both staff and customers.
  • Working 40 hours per week.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Pharmacist Manager should have:

  • Full registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Previous experience managing a pharmacy team.
  • Proficiency in providing advice on healthcare and medications.
  • Attention to detail, particularly in prescription processing and compliance.
  • Confidence in managing stock levels and ensuring availability of medications.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to achieve business objectives.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer and patient care.
