Job Description

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Provide expert advice and support to customers regarding their healthcare needs.
  • Manage and lead the pharmacy team, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Oversee stock management to maintain the availability of essential medicines and products.
  • Monitor and improve pharmacy performance, meeting key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and build strong relationships with the community.
  • Support professional development and training within the team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Pharmacist Manager should have:

  • A degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong knowledge of community pharmacy operations and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills to manage a team effectively.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer care and supporting community health needs.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to achieve business objectives.

  • Previous experience managing a pharmacy team.
