Job Description

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Provide expert healthcare advice to customers, tailoring recommendations to individual needs.
  • Manage stock levels to ensure the availability of essential medicines and products.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Stay updated on pharmaceutical developments and implement best practices.
  • Ensure the pharmacy meets all health and safety regulations.
  • Support and mentor pharmacy team members where required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Pharmacist should have:

  • A recognised qualification in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong knowledge of medicines, their uses, and potential interactions.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
  • Good communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Working within a team of professionals.
