Job Description

  • Provide exceptional healthcare services to meet the needs of patients.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in line with policies.
  • Support the implementation of new healthcare initiatives and improvements.
  • Promote health education and preventative care within the community.
  • Oversee daily operations within the department to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful pharmacist should have:

  • Must hold a GPhC qualification and full time duty responsible pharmacist.
  • Experience working within a professional healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare standards and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work in a face paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Must get involved with dispensing and service provision (BP, ABPM, PhF, vaccs, weight loss, microsuction, OC, stop smoke) and achieve branch targets.
  • Must be involved with day to day staff management including stock control and cost control.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with local practices.
  • Will be based in Hamworthy, however be able to cover sister pharmacy in emergency.
  • Must be flexible to cover last minute sickness and planned holiday.
