As the Policy and Research Officer, you will spearhead research and evaluation projects that underpin the regulators standards for education and professional conduct. You will bridge the gap between data and action by analysing complex datasets and coordinating key policy initiatives to support continuous improvement across the profession.

Job Description

  • Design, build, and administer surveys while conducting quantitative and statistical analysis on education and EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) datasets.
  • Manage commissioned third-party research and consultation exercises, serving as the primary liaison for stakeholders.
  • Translate analysis into engaging reports and PowerBI dashboards for both internal leadership and external audiences.
  • Respond to policy enquiries and support the creation of external-facing GCC policies based on robust evidence.
  • Maintain an overview of the wider regulatory landscape to foster cross-regulatory research partnerships.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in survey design, data collection, and statistical analysis (specifically using tools like PowerBI).
  • The ability to write clear, concise papers for senior managers and speak effectively to a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and coordinate complex projects independently and without close supervision.
  • A strong commitment to the values of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • Highly skilled in MS Office, SharePoint, and online survey platforms.
