Job Description

  • Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance services.
  • Provide expert advice on various tax issues, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
  • Assist in the preparation of complex tax returns and review work completed by junior staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering proactive and tailored advice.
  • Support senior team members in delivering tax planning projects and identifying opportunities for clients.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and training of junior team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Private Client Tax Assistant Manager should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accountancy or tax, such as ACA, CTA, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge in private client tax, including compliance and advisory work.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of private clients within the professional services industry.
