Job Description

  • Develop and implement a robust procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including forecasting, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to all UK locations.
  • Optimise logistics and warehousing operations for efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and supply chain team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across departments.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives within procurement and supply chain practices.
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement & Supply Chain Director should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain leadership within the Food & Beverage or hospitality sector.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK and international supply chain regulations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • CIPS qualifications preferred.
  • Experienced in drafting commercial terms for contracts, working with the legal team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
