Job Description

Professional Development and Mentorship

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning by designing and delivering tailored training programmes, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Provide strategic mentorship and guidance to lawyers at all levels, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Deliver and/or coordinate sessions on legal developments, procedural updates, and best practices.
  • Offer individual coaching and support on complex legal matters and career development.
  • Work with practice group leaders to identify training needs and create bespoke programmes.



Knowledge Management Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy aligned with the organisation's priorities.
  • Leverage technology and best practices to enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Create cutting-edge resources, including AI tools, legal databases, and industry insights, to keep lawyers ahead of market trends.



Precedent and Template Documents

  • Review, update, and maintain the precedent bank.
  • Develop a suite of standardised, high-quality precedent documents for key workstreams and embed them into workflows.



Document Automation and AI Integration

  • Lead the assessment and implementation of document automation and AI technologies to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  • Collaborate with technology partners and internal teams to customise solutions that meet organisational and client needs.



Strategic Legal Research and Analysis

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities in the real estate transactional market.
  • Provide actionable insights to inform strategy and client engagement.
  • Advise senior leadership on future legal developments and market implications.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a strong track record in commercial law.
  • Significant expertise in real estate law.
  • Extensive experience in knowledge management, precedent drafting, document automation, AI integration, and strategic research within a professional services environment.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and navigate complex challenges.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, capable of inspiring cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to engage diverse audiences.
