Our client - a venture capital not-for-profit - are looking for a Programme Coordinator. This is a brand new role with a newly created organisation, who are looking to land and expand in the UK market. Candidates must be open to a potential 3-6 month secondment to Singapore, once per year.

Job Description

Project Management

  • Support the day-to-day management of a select number of the Foundation's funded initiatives, developing a thorough understanding of each project's progress, partners, and challenges, tracking progress against milestones, budgets, and deliverables
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date programme records, reporting systems, and project documentation, ensuring the team always has a clear and reliable picture of where each project stands
  • Support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks across the portfolio
  • Assist with financial administration, including reviewing partner financial reports and flagging anomalies for review



Grantee & Partner Relations

  • Act as a point of contact for funded partners and grantees under your coverage, supporting the development of constructive, trust-based relationships
  • Coordinate partner communications and follow-ups, ensuring timely responses and clear information flows
  • Participate in site visits to partner institutions, including international travel, as required
  • Where the opportunity arises, undertake secondments to partner institutions for extended periods, working hands-on within project teams to support delivery



Events & Communications

  • Support the planning and delivery of the Foundation's Principal Investigator symposium, assisting the Programme Manager in coordinating logistics, communications, and participant engagement
  • Contribute to the development of the Foundation's medical student fellowship programme, providing coordination and administrative support as the initiative is incubated and launched
  • Work with the Communications team to ensure accurate and timely representation of programme activity in external materials



Organisational Contribution

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of programme management processes and tools
  • Provide research, analysis, and briefing support to senior colleagues as required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Programme Coordinator should have/be:

  • 3-7 years of experience in a programme, project, or grants management role, ideally gained at least in part on the delivery side of a funded initiative
  • Candidates in their early careers who are willing to step up to the challenges and grow are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Experience working within or in close partnership with academic, clinical, research, non-profit, or healthcare related environments
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
  • Good financial literacy, with experience supporting budget monitoring or reviewing financial reports
  • Clear and confident communicator, both in writing and in person
  • Willingness to undertake international travel, including potential secondments
