A large public sector healthcare organisation delivering clinical and community services, currently undertaking a significant transformation programme to improve service delivery, operational efficiency and data-driven decision making.

Job Description

  • Lead the delivery of complex transformation programmes across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage programme governance, reporting, and assurance processes.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Engage and influence senior operational, clinical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Coordinate programme plans, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Drive the successful delivery of digital, operational, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor programme performance and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication across internal and external stakeholder groups.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Programme Manager should have:

    • Extensive Programme Management experience within a healthcare environment.
    • Experience working within mental health services or Mental Health Trust settings.
    • Strong programme governance, risk, issue, and dependency management expertise.
    • Proven track record delivering transformation, digital, operational, or service improvement programmes.
    • Experience managing senior stakeholders across clinical, operational, and executive teams.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
    • Ability to operate effectively within complex and highly regulated environments.
    • Strong planning, reporting, and programme assurance capabilities.
