Job Description

  • Manage and monitor project budgets to ensure accurate cost tracking and forecasting.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and variance analyses for stakeholders.
  • Oversee project invoicing and ensure timely billing and collections.
  • Collaborate with project managers to assess financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimise project profitability.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accountant should have:

  • Relevant professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
