As a Project Manager , you'll oversee the Risk Management System Implementation of Protech to ensure they are delivered on time and meet business objectives. You'll play a key role in coordinating teams and resources, helping the organisation stay on track with its goals.

Job Description

  • Plan, execute and manage the Risk management System implementation,
  • The assignment requires focused management of the implementation, transition and business readiness activities needed to maintain continuity of risk, controls and incident management.
  • Create, maintain and drive an integrated implementation plan covering supplier mobilisation, platform configuration, testing, data migration, training, communications, go-live and early-life readiness.
  • Co-ordinate the configuration of agreed existing risks, controls, incidents, actions, reporting requirements, permissions and Single Sign-On / Active Directory arrangements, while keeping configuration light and aligned to standard platform functionality.
  • Plan and co-ordinate user acceptance testing, including entry and exit criteria, test ownership, defect management, evidence and readiness recommendations.
  • Plan and co-ordinate migration of the agreed data from SureCloud, including reconciliation, validation, issue resolution and acceptance. Data cleansing remains a business-as-usual responsibility and is not part of this service unless separately agreed.
  • Develop and manage a cutover and Day 1 go-live plan that protects continuity of risk, controls and incident management.
  • Assess change impacts and develop business readiness plans, checklists and acceptance evidence across affected teams.
  • Plan and co-ordinate training and adoption for approximately 100 users, working with Risk and OD/HR subject matter experts.
  • Produce project communications, stakeholder engagement activity, FAQs and practical reference materials required for launch.
  • Establish proportionate governance, reporting, RAID and decision controls, with clear escalation of threats to delivery or readiness.
  • Facilitate the key supplier, design, testing, migration, readiness and go-live forums needed to achieve the outcomes.
  • Develop an outline roadmap and delivery plan for future iterations and phases, separating essential go-live scope from later enhancement.
  • Provide an orderly handover of plans, artefacts, decisions, outstanding actions and ownership before the end of the engagement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress and address any risks or issues that arise.
  • Manage resources and budgets effectively to ensure projects stay within scope.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders to provide updates and gather requirements.
  • Ensure all projects align with organisational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation and reports as needed.
  • Facilitate post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience managing a Risk management implementation ideally Protech or similar
  • Strong project management discipline across integrated planning, governance, RAID, dependencies, scope, suppliers, testing, migration, cutover and readiness.
  • Practical change management and business readiness capability, including impact assessment, communications, training, adoption and readiness evidence
  • Experience of supplier-led SaaS or packaged platform implementation using configuration rather than custom development.
  • Ability to work at pace, make delivery risks visible, secure decisions and maintain clear ownership boundaries.
  • Clear, concise written reporting and confident facilitation with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial judgement and experience managing third-party deliverables and acceptance.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities to liaise with teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • An understanding of regulatory requirements within the healthcare sector.
  • A proactive approach to managing risks and resolving challenges
