Job Description

  • Lead projects, ensuring delivery meets quality standards and aligns with organisational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain a clear governance structure for projects, including regular status reporting and milestone tracking.
  • Deliver projects from start to finish, preparing strong business cases and plans.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and issues effectively, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Monitor progress against project plans, adjusting as necessary to maintain timelines and objectives.
  • Ensure resources are allocated efficiently to support project success.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project performance and outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing projects within the Not For Profit or public sector environment.
  • Strong skills in preparing business cases and detailed project plans.
  • Ability to establish governance frameworks and ensure adherence to them.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Capability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Adept at coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • A focused and solution-oriented approach to delivering outcomes.
