This role requires a dedicated QSHE Manager to oversee quality, safety, health, and environmental standards within an industrial / manufacturing environment. The position is based in Gatwick and offers an excellent opportunity to drive compliance and improve operational standards.

Job Description

  • Oversee all quality, safety, health, and environmental (QSHE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective QSHE systems and strategies to enhance operational performance.
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on QSHE practices and responsibilities.
  • Monitor and report on key QSHE metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices within the manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with teams to address and resolve any QSHE-related issues promptly.
  • Act as the key point of contact for external audits and regulatory bodies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful QSHE Manager should have:

* Minimum 5 years' relevant Industry experience.
* A member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
* A relevant professional qualification e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate.
* Experience of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management systems
* Extensive knowledge Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice.
* Holds appropriate professional qualification such as ISO lead auditor, OHSAS Chartered Environmentalist etc.
