Job Description

  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in line with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and analyse revenue reports and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate billing and invoicing processes.
  • Monitor and reconcile revenue accounts, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to revenue.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on revenue analysis.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Revenue Accountant should have:

  • A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Experience in revenue recognition and financial reporting processes.
