We are seeking a Temporary Sales Order Processor to join a fast-paced customer service department within the industrial/manufacturing industry in Ellesmere Port. This temporary role requires a detail-oriented individual to manage customer orders efficiently and ensure smooth processing.

Job Description

  • Provides advanced product and service information and responds to complex customer questions about those products and services
  • Records and processes quotes and orders, including custom and special orders that may require additional resources for delivery and coordinating with those teams as required
  • Makes calls (by telephone or other channel) to allocated customers to develop new and deepen existing relationships
  • Acts as a first point of contact for resolving customer queries / complaints
  • Responds to and resolves complex or advanced issue escalations promptly and appropriately, securing managerial approvals as required
  • Schedules follow-up actions and enters relevant information into the customer relationship management system after each customer contact to create a call plan

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temporary Sales Order Processor should have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for order processing.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Can commit to an on-going temporary role.
