Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements for a range of clients across various sectors.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax computations and returns.
  • Support the management of client accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain and improve workflows and processes.
  • Provide professional advice to clients on accounting and tax matters.
  • Maintain accurate and organised client records and files.
  • Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.

The Successful Applicant

For this Semi Senior Accountant role you should have:

  • A relevant qualification or be working towards one (e.g. AAT, ATT, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Experience across any mix of year end accounts preparation, tax compliance, bookkeeping, VAT returns, developed within an accountancy practice firm.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for client and team interaction
