The Senior Accountant will support the Finance team with the production of month end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, project WIP reviews and wider financial reporting across this particular division. The role offers broad exposure, involvement in audits and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement while working closely stakeholders across the business.

Job Description

  • Produce monthly financial results for the division and support quarterly reviews of project performance.
  • Keep track of unbilled work and help the business stay on top of outstanding project activity.
  • Handle day‑to‑day financial entries accurately and within required timelines.
  • Reconcile key balance sheet areas and maintain clear, well‑supported schedules.
  • Provide ad‑hoc financial insight to support decision‑making across the UK business.
  • Assist with audit requirements and ensure controls are properly evidenced.
  • Offer guidance to junior team members where needed.
  • Look for ways to streamline processes, improve efficiency and adopt smarter ways of working.



The Successful Applicant

  • Someone fully qualified in their accounting training, confident applying their technical knowledge in a busy finance environment.
  • A clear communicator who's comfortable working with colleagues at different levels and keeping people updated when challenges arise.
  • Strong with spreadsheets and everyday finance systems, able to handle data accurately and logically.
  • Well‑organised, able to manage their own workload effectively and support others when needed.
  • Adaptable and steady under pressure, used to working in a fast‑paced setting with shifting priorities.
