Job Description

  • Conduct audits across IT and change management functions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate risks and controls within the organisation's technology processes, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop practical solutions.
  • Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management, outlining findings and suggestions.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and assess their effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt audit approaches accordingly.
  • Support the development of the annual audit plan for the technology and change department.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members where necessary.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Auditor - IT & Change should have:

  • Proven experience in IT auditing or technology-focused internal auditing within the financial services industry.
  • A strong understanding of risk management and control frameworks.
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as CISA or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in report writing.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to the financial services sector.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
