Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support decision-making across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to develop and monitor budgets effectively.
  • Identify and report on financial risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and best practices within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial planning and reporting processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Budgeting and Forecasting Manager should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Social Housing and its financial regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
