This programme offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile data transformation project with significant national impact.Job DescriptionDevelop data-sharing rulebooks, agreements, and reusable governance templates.Define and maintain tourism-related data taxonomies, metadata standards, and schema guidance.Design governance frameworks including participation criteria, change management processes, and dispute resolution mechanisms.Work with technical teams to align business governance requirements with platform implementation.Create guidance on data harmonisation, structure, and interoperability across multiple data sources.Develop toolkits and standards for data uploads, metadata management, and collaboration.Capture lessons learned from programme participants and drive continuous improvement.Define accreditation and trust mark frameworks for data suppliers and consumers.Assess conformity assessment models and recommend appropriate assurance approaches.Establish security and data protection baselines in collaboration with legal and information security teams.Produce business analysis artefacts including process maps, requirements documents, operating models, and RACI matrices.Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions across technical and non-technical audiences.Support programme governance through reporting, risk management, and steering group documentation.The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Business Analyst should have:Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within data-driven, platform, or marketplace environments.Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, ownership models, data quality, and access controls.Experience developing data models, taxonomies, metadata standards, and schema frameworks.Demonstrable experience creating data-sharing agreements, licensing frameworks, or governance rulebooks.Understanding of data catalogue and governance platforms such as Databricks Unity Catalog or similar.Knowledge of accreditation, assurance, and conformity assessment approaches.Good understanding of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, Cyber Essentials, or equivalent security standards.Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.Excellent written communication and documentation capabilities.Ability to translate complex governance concepts for non-technical stakeholders.Experience working independently and managing deliverables end-to-end.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good working knowledge of Databricks or similar Data & AI platforms.What's on OfferA competitive day rate of £650 to £750, dependent on the level of experience.Contract role with opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects.If you're interested in this role, apply now.ContactAmelia HoggQuote job refJN-092026-7101973Phone number+442072692106Job summaryJob functionTechnologySubsectorIT Business AnalysisSectorLeisure, Travel & TourismWhereLondonContract typeTemporaryConsultant nameAmelia HoggConsultant phone+442072692106Job referenceJN-092026-7101973
