Job Description

  • Provide expert financial advice to support strategic decision-making processes within the organisation.
  • Develop and manage financial models to drive performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create and monitor budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyse financial data and present insights to senior leadership teams.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports for board meetings and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth within the organisation.
  • Mentor and support junior team members within the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • A strong understanding of the not-for-profit sector and its financial practices.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Line managed a team of 5 or more.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
