We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance & Grant Officer to lead the financial management, compliance, and reporting of a portfolio of donor-funded projects.

About Our Client

A not-for-profit organisation based in Birmingham.

Job Description

Set up projects, budgets, milestones, and donor requirements within the ERP system.

Monitor project expenditure, budgets, and cash flow.

Ensure compliance with donor agreements and reporting obligations.

Review and approve project financial reports prior to donor submission.

Manage billing, income tracking, and fund transfer processes.

Support project audits and grant closure activities.

Drive process improvements, automation, and effective use of finance systems.

The Successful Applicant

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.

Proven end-to-end grants management experience.

Strong understanding of financial accounting and project finance.

Experience producing reconciliations and analyzing financial data.

Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems.

Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
