As their new Senior HSE Manager, you will lead your team with a passion for continuous improvement, shaping and leading best practice in the transformation of health and safety, environmental, quality, regulatory and legislative policies. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of their brand-new state of the art automated manufacturing facility. As an industrial business in the UK that adopts the internationally recognised EN14001 standard, they have been at the forefront of the move toward increased awareness of environmental sustainability within the sector. As part of this, you will take the lead on a variety of exciting projects.Job DescriptionThe Senior HSE Manager will: Define, shape, and implement our HSE strategy and visionAdvise and guide the Board on all aspects of safety and environment legislation Develop/Expand your knowledge of regulations, becoming a subject matter expertBe a role model for HSE best practiceMotivate, lead, and inspire a team of subject matter expertsCoach, guide and develop your team through SMART objectives and PDPsImplement new processes and drive change to improve efficiencyWork cross functionally with colleagues to achieve business objectives The Successful ApplicantThe Senior HSE Manager will bring: An inspirational and motivational leadership styleA passion for health and safety, environmental and quality An autonomous, agile work ethicStrong communication and influencing skillsDegree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (science, health and safety, environmental)NEBOSH Certificate (Diploma an advantage).
