Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of these schemes across Birmingham and the surrounding region.Job DescriptionKey responsibilities include:Managing the commercial performance of multiple planned works contractsProducing accurate valuations, applications for payment, and final accountsManaging subcontractor procurement, payments, and account settlementsMonitoring project costs, forecasts, and financial reportingIdentifying and managing variations and change control processesSupporting operational teams to maximise contract profitabilityManaging risk and ensuring contractual complianceBuilding strong relationships with local authority and housing association clientsMentoring and supporting junior commercial team members where requiredThe Successful ApplicantProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity SurveyorExperience delivering planned maintenance, refurbishment, or social housing contractsStrong knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contractExcellent commercial and financial management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneouslyStrong negotiation and stakeholder management abilitiesFull UK driving licenceWhat's on OfferOpportunity to work on high-profile social housing improvement programmesClear progression pathway within a growing commercial teamCompetitive salary and benefits packageSupportive and forward-thinking leadership teamHybrid working flexibilityIf you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
