Job Description

  • Prepare and manage accurate service charge budgets and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve service charge queries.
  • Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve service charge processes and efficiency.
  • Monitor and review financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Deliver training and guidance to colleagues on service charge matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Service Charge Analyst should have:

  • A strong background in accounting or finance, ideally within the Housing or Property sector.
  • Proven experience in service charge management and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
