Job Description

  • Prepare, review, and reconcile service charge accounts for a portfolio of properties.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines in service charge accounting.
  • Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve queries effectively.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for service charge expenditure.
  • Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
  • Provide support in the preparation of year-end accounts and statements.
  • Respond to tenant and client queries regarding service charges in a professional manner.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Service Charge Analyst should have:

  • A relevant finance qualification or background in accounting (ACCA, AAT, CIMA)
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Experience in service charge accounting and budgeting
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
