Solicitor - Litigation (Social Housing) - London / Hybrid

In this role you will be providing high quality legal advice and representation on litigation related matters (particularly regarding housing management matters) to the group.

This will involve a varied caseload, as well as assisting more junior team members with more straightforward matters.

You will build and maintain effective working relationships with the team's stakeholders, including colleagues, residents' solicitors, partners outside the Legal Services team and other third parties.

• Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on litigation issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and contracts.
• Represent the organisation in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all litigation activities.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel when required.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law relevant to the not-for-profit industry.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.

As an in-house team the group also deal with a wide variety of contentious legal queries which you will support the business with, and you will have the option (if you choose) to follow a development pathway to grow your legal career with the organisation
