Job Description

As Associate Director, in the Strategy team, focused on Pricing, you will operate across the full lifecycle of strategic engagements, combining commercial leadership with hands-on delivery:

Client & Project Leadership

  • Lead multi-disciplinary, complex programmes delivering measurable operational and margin improvement
  • Take accountability for delivery quality, budgets, risk management, and governance
  • Work directly with senior client stakeholders to scope, mobilise, and execute projects



Strategy & Advisory

  • Solve pricing and revenue optimisation challenges using data and analytics techniques
  • Translate large, complex datasets into clear strategic insights and actionable recommendations
  • Develop sector-specific points of view on pricing, growth, and deal strategy



Business Development

  • Originate and shape opportunities with clients, from initial conversations through to proposal and close
  • Support and lead bids, pitches, and commercial negotiations
  • Build trusted adviser relationships with senior executives and decision-makers



Practice & Team Development

  • Lead internal initiatives to enhance capability, tools, and propositions
  • Coach and develop team members, maintaining high delivery standards
  • Collaborate across service lines to bring the right expertise to client problems

The Successful Applicant

You will bring a blend of pricing expertise, consulting experience, and commercial acumen:

Core Experience

  • Strong background in pricing strategy consulting, or pricing roles within large corporates
  • Experience working with large organisations and/or private equity on high-impact initiatives
  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects



Commercial & Consulting Capability

  • Demonstrated ability to generate and convert business opportunities
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders, including board-level engagement
  • Strong understanding of deal environments, including margin improvement pre or post transaction



Analytical & Technical Strength

  • Advanced numerical and analytical capability, with the ability to distil complex data into insight
  • Structured problem-solving with a focus on practical, implementable outcomes
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as economics, mathematics, statistics, or engineering



Leadership & Personal Attributes

  • Credible, confident communicator able to influence across varied audiences
  • Strong coaching and team leadership capability
  • High motivation, resilience, and ability to operate in complex environments
