Job Description

* Lead delivery of strategic transformation and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment to the unified business strategy and operating model.

* Build and maintain integrated delivery plans, coordinating delivery across application, data, security, infrastructure, product, operations and business readiness streams.

* Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and change to safeguard scope, timelines, budget and quality.

* Assess the quality, clarity and traceability of technical, product and business requirements against delivery outcomes.

* Facilitate discovery and problem-definition discussions to clarify outcomes, assumptions and decision points.

* Analyse stakeholders, influence paths and impacted groups to support alignment and adoption.

* Ensure relevant quality control processes are in place for all deliverables appropriate to level of risk.

* Plan and execute transition, capability mobilisation, residual cutover and hypercare activities under robust governance and compliance frameworks.

* Manage customer-impacting change and business readiness for new capabilities, operating model changes and cross-functional delivery milestones.

* Track benefits, readiness indicators and delivery outcomes to support prioritisation and decision-making.

* Support definition, prioritisation and tracking of strategic capabilities, ensuring initiatives map clearly to business outcomes, dependencies and benefits.

* Drive cross-functional alignment across Technology, Product, Operations, Commercial and other business stakeholders.

* Manage day-to-day project operations with urgency; coordinate internal teams and external vendors, keeping stakeholders abreast of progress.

* Participate in governance forums, providing concise reporting on progress, risks, dependencies and decisions required to support the strategic roadmap.

* Use delivery data and AI-assisted review, where appropriate, to validate assumptions, highlight risks and improve reporting quality.

* Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.

* Ensure PMO approach is adhered to, and project documents and controls are complete, current and appropriately filed.

The Successful Applicant

* 7+ years' experience owning or managing multi-disciplinary technology development, transformation or cross-functional delivery programmes.

* Strong project management expertise (Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall) with demonstrable experience coordinating technology delivery across multiple teams, capabilities and business functions.

* Excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to resolve issues decisively.

* Experience planning cutovers, hypercare operations, transitions or capability mobilisation activities.

* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to align internal teams and external vendors.

* Ability to assess requirements for clarity, completeness, traceability and alignment to business outcomes.

* Experience supporting business readiness, benefits management and adoption planning.

* Commercial acumen - ability to incorporate financial impacts of decisions into discussions and reporting.

* Ability to communicate complex technical and process concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

* Ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining accuracy, working independently and collaboratively as required.

* Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, with hands-on experience using Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.

* Working knowledge of data-informed decision support and AI-assisted validation techniques.

* Understanding of technology systems and delivery across application, data, security, infrastructure, product and operational domains.

* Strong risk, dependency and change management capabilities, with a focus on minimising operational and customer impact.

* Excellent communication skills with ability to maintain clear, trusted executive communications and reporting.

* Experience translating strategic business initiatives into delivery plans, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies and executive reporting.

* Experience with complex system integrations, data migrations and strategic transformation delivery.

* Ability to connect programme-level outcomes with practical delivery governance, prioritisation and senior stakeholder reporting.

* Structured problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical judgement.

* Structured discovery and facilitation, with the ability to frame problems and guide decisions.
