This role involves supporting the Individual Giving team by managing and developing legacy and in-memory giving programmes. The position requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns.

Job Description

  • Working with the Individual Giving Fundraising Manager to support the delivery of new and existing Individual Giving programmes to maximise income from individual donations, appeals, gifts in memory and legacies.
  • Supporting the attraction of new donors and development of the existing donor base to maximise supporter lifetime value and grow income.
  • Working towards achieving annual income targets from individual giving streams as agreed with the Head of Supporter Engagement.
  • Tracking, analysing and reporting on the results of Individual Giving campaigns and activities against budget and expenditure, while monitoring supporter feedback.
  • Producing and presenting end-of-campaign evaluation reports to review performance and outcomes.
  • Maximising Gift Aid income opportunities across individual donations.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of a diverse supporter acquisition programme to grow the donor base.
  • Ensuring accurate data capture and record management on the Raiser's Edge NXT database relating to individual giving and legacy activity.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans for individual giving campaigns to maximise growth, income and sustainability.
  • Assisting with the creation and development of marketing collateral tailored to specific fundraising campaigns or income streams.
  • Using data insights and analytics to support donor segmentation, supporter retention activities and the development of supporter journeys.
  • Working collaboratively across teams including fundraising, care and retail to increase awareness and maximise income opportunities from Individual Giving products.
  • Supporting the marketing and communications team in promoting Individual Giving fundraising initiatives across relevant media channels for both new and existing audiences.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temporary Individual Giving Fundraiser - Legacy and In Memory should have:

  • Previous experience in fundraising or a related field within the public sector.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in managing donor databases and CRM systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Understanding of legacy and in-memory giving practices and principles.
