Job Description

  • Prepare and manage financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial accuracy and planning.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit materials and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temporary Management Accountant should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field desirable.
  • Proven ability to handle financial reporting and analysis with accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector is advantageous.
