Job Description

  • Supporting the Supporter Experience Manager and Head of Supporter Engagement in delivering the team's strategic objectives and implementing key projects and initiatives.
  • Providing effective administrative and operational support across supporter experience activities.
  • Delivering excellent customer service by managing supporter enquiries via email, phone, and post in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Processing and coding fundraising post on RE NXT and liaising with fundraising teams to resolve queries.
  • Responding to supporter complaints where appropriate and escalating when necessary.
  • Supporting the development of supporter communications and ensuring messaging aligns with supporter journeys and communications guidelines.
  • Producing personalised thank-you communications to support long-term donor engagement and meet team KPIs.
  • Maintaining accurate supporter records on RE NXT, including updating communication preferences in line with GDPR and fundraising regulations.
  • Supporting gift aid administration and accurately recording data to maximise income opportunities.
  • Carrying out general database maintenance including updating records and data capture.
  • Ensuring accurate and efficient data handling within the CRM with strong attention to detail.
  • Providing ad hoc administrative support to the Director of Fundraising when required.
  • Supporting fundraising events and contributing to wider fundraising initiatives.
  • Working with the team to enhance supporter experience and engagement.
  • Assisting with opportunities arising from the organisation's open day programme.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temporary Supporter Experience Coordinator should have:

  • Experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally within the public sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using databases and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements.
