This role leads all financial operations for a manufacturing SME, working closely with the Managing Director and Board to deliver accurate reporting, planning, and strategic financial insight while remaining hands-on. It combines team leadership with responsibility for accounting, budgeting, cashflow, tax, audit, and the professionalisation of finance processes within a growing business that is part of a wider group.
Financial Controller to join a large, growing and well-established UK business on a 15 month fixed-term contract, leading financial reporting, controls, forecasting, compliance and a high-performing finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in driving business performance, improving finance processes and supporting strategic projects, with potential longer-term opportunities available within the wider organisation.
The FP&A Manager will play a key role within the finance function, providing robust financial planning, forecasting and analysis to support informed commercial decision-making.The role will partner closely with senior stakeholders, translating financial performance into clear insights, challenging assumptions and helping drive performance, profitability and strategic growth across the business.
In this role you will lead a significant balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation project. You'll take ownership of reviewing and reconciling intercompany balances that have built up over a number of years, identifying the root causes of discrepancies and working with stakeholders across the group to improve data integrity, controls and reporting processes.
As a Financial Accountant, you'll handle the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in reporting. Your work will support the business services sector by keeping financial records organised and providing vital insights for decision-making.
