As the Maintenance Engineer at their brand new state of the art Derbyshire site you will be working as part of a Maintenance team responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment is installed, maintained and operated to maximise production output and efficiency's.

You have the opportunity to join a successful business in the Derbyshire region that are looking to add two Belt Engineers/Mechanical Fitters to the team. You will be working in a heavy industrial environment, responsible for carrying out repairs on the conveyors belts across site, as well as regular PPMs. You may also be involved in breakdowns & replacement of parts across plant.

Monday - Friday 17:00 - 01:30

The Shift Electrical Technician will work 4 on 4 off and will work with CMMS (computerised maintenance management systems), following electrical PPM's and be able to fault find on 3 phase A.C. electrical systems, motors driving pumps, rolls, screens and fans. Also it is advantageous to have experience fault finding on PLC's and maintaining D.C. motors.

Diagnosis of faults, electrical maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service.

Support the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures.

You will be based on site in Derby, and will be part of a multi-disciplined engineering maintenance team to ensure delivery of functional Key Performance Indicators which contribute to the Supply function meeting its customer service, quality and cost targets. You will also ensure that the engineering team embraces the company culture and consistently demonstrate this through their application of the core values.
