London, 31 March 2026: New data from recruitment agency Michael Page for Q4 2025 indicates a hiring landscape driven by sector-specific trends in the Midlands. According to the data, industries seeing the highest demand for candidates in the Midlands, based on the number of job adverts created in Q4 2025 were: • Engineering & Manufacturing • Healthcare • Logistics • Hospitality & Leisure • Technology • Retail In contrast, the following industries saw the highest demand from candidates in the Midlands, based on the number of job applications per role: • Technology • Marketing & Agency • Secretarial & Business Support • Human Resources • Logistics • Customer Service However, the following industries saw the highest growth in candidate demand in Q4 2025, compared to the three months prior: • Logistics (12%) • Technology (8%) • Marketing & Agency (6%) Michael Lyons, Director, Midlands at Michael Page says: “This data shows the Midlands hiring landscape is driven by employer demand in Engineering & Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Logistics.
