Their clients range from small sole traders, family trusts and landed estates through to large international manufacturers and professional practices, all spread across the UK and Europe, but predominately in the North East of England.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of client accounts in the agricultural sector, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts for clients.
  • Provide expert advice on accounting matters to support client decision-making.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff within the team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting workflows.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Manager should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing client accounts in the agricultural sector
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and current regulations.
  • Confidence in using accounting software and related tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
